Job Description
We are seeking a professional with a background in Occupational Therapy to work in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Liverpool, NSW.
In this role you will manage your own day with flexibility and autonomy, supported by a close team of driven healthcare professionals and a global corporate infrastructure. You will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of physical and psychological conditions, supporting return to health and work outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Case management with manageable caseloads and support from Rehabilitation Assistants.
- Apply clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes.
- Work with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programmes.
- Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals.
- Work across workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veterans Affairs, and employer‑funded injury prevention programmes.
- Assist those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and work outcomes.
- Complete assessments: initial, workplace and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy registered with AHPRA.
- Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Compassion, kindness and empathy.
- Well‑developed time‑management skills.
- A current NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a car with comprehensive insurance.
