The principal areas of responsibility will be ensuring full compliance with Australian Standards and NATA requirements for sampling and testing of concrete mixes and entering test results into multi-faceted systems.**Shift Pattern:*** 12-hour shifts* Day Shift & Night Shift* 7/3 and 7/4 rotating day and night shifts**About the Role:*** Sampling and testing fresh concrete as per Australian standards on construction sites.* Collecting concrete test samples (concrete in moulds, approx. 5kg) from construction sites - typically from 3 - 5 sites @ day* Assisting Lab technicians and carrying out compression and other strength tests on cured concrete specimens in our Skygate/Southport Laboratory* Working safely and accurately* Reporting to Laboratory Supervisor**Background and Experience required:*** Valid Australian Driver's License* Previous qualification in Laboratory Techniques/signatory will be highly regarded* Perform tests in accordance with Australian Standards* Physically fit (Able to carry 15 litres of concrete for each test.
