As our Recruitment Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in driving Ready Resources’ talent acquisition strategy while also contributing to key HR initiatives. Your primary focus will be on end-to-end recruitment and building strong talent pipelines to support business growth. In addition, you will support HR compliance, employee engagement, and workplace culture — ensuring that Ready Resources continues to attract and retain the best people in the mining and resources sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle – advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding.
- Develop proactive candidate pipelines using LinkedIn, industry networks, referrals, and direct sourcing.
- Partner with managers to forecast labour requirements and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
- Enhance employer branding and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Monitor recruitment KPIs (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, retention) and recommend improvements.
HR Support
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and processes.
- Support compliance with Australian workplace legislation and enterprise agreements.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
- Assist with training and development coordination to support workforce capability.
- Contribute to initiatives that foster a positive and fair workplace culture.
What We’re Looking For
- Solid experience in recruitment within mining, resources, or heavy industry environments.
- Proven success in high-volume recruitment and proactive sourcing strategies.
- Knowledge of Australian workplace laws, compliance, and enterprise agreements.
- Robust stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- High-level organisational and systems skills
To Be Successful, You’ll Need
- Certificate IV, Diploma, or Degree in HR, Business, or related discipline.
- Previous mining/resources recruitment experience – essential.
- National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and strong relationship-building skills.
