About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinician to join our team in a community-based mental health care setting. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-standard assessments, psychological interventions, and therapeutic support to young people with mild to moderate severity.

This is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver comprehensive care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities:

* Provide focused psychological strategies and counseling services to young people with a wide range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship, and family conflict.
* Manage your own case load independently while collaborating with the wider clinical team to ensure comprehensive care.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

* AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, or Mental Health Nurse, or AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.
* Extensive experience providing clinical services to young people (12-25 years) with a demonstrated understanding of assessment and care planning.
* Sound knowledge of public, non-government, and private mental health systems and programs, with a working understanding of associated non-mental health programs in a community setting.
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills, showing an ability to work sensitively with individuals who have or are at risk of developing a mental illness.
* Proven ability to work creatively, collaboratively, and effectively as a member of a team.
* Demonstrated skills in organisation and time-management, including the ability to work under pressure and balance multiple tasks.
* Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
* Eligibility to apply for WWCC and NDIS worker screening clearance.
