About the Role
Full‐time Technical Assistant position located in Rockhampton, working Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm (38hours per week). You will support radiologists, radiographers and other health professionals with procedures in MRI, CT and other areas.
Duties
* Assist radiologists and radiographers with procedures in MRI, CT and other areas.
* Document and coordinate procedures with radiologists.
* Perform patient cannulation (training provided).
* Handle specimens and coordinate delivery to pathology.
* Assist support staff with clerical duties, record keeping, account maintenance and patient file management.
* Maintain health standards through cleaning and stock ordering.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous medical assistant experience essential or pursuing a medical degree.
* Experience in radiology highly regarded.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to promote and maintain high standards of patient care.
* Strong prioritisation and time‐management skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multi‐disciplinary team.
