About the Role
We work with a range of stakeholders to improve access to quality at home palliative care in the North Brisbane and Moreton Bay region. You will make meaningful impact through leading projects which address identified needs.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of projects to improve access to quality at home palliative care across the region.
* Build partnerships, establish and maintain collaborative working relationships, and engage with relevant internal and external stakeholders across multiple sectors.
* Identify, develop and implement improvements in project management processes to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Strengthen the capacity of the health and aged care sectors to overcome challenges and respond to system changes.
Important Notes
* This role involves topics of dying, death, grief, bereavement and voluntary assisted dying. Please consider this when assessing your interest and suitability for the position.
* It is expected that you are willing and able to meet vaccination and PPE requirements to enable you to enter Residential Aged Care services to perform the functions of your role.
* It is expected that you will have annual influenza vaccinations.
About You
You are a driven team player ready to lead meaningful projects.
Qualifications and Experience
* Tertiary qualifications in a health or social care related field (highly desirable)
* Experience and knowledge of primary health care, acute health and the aged care sectors (highly desirable)
* Experience in leading/managing projects, creating change and improving outcomes for consumers
* Experience in analysing and synthesising complex information
* Experience in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Compensation and Contract
* $105,737.69 Base + Super + Salary Packaging + Leave Loading
* This is a 12‐month contract starting 29 June 2026 ending 30 June 2027.
