Description
Looking for an experienced Measurement & Logging While Drilling (MLWD) Specialist in Adelaide. This role is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable Product and Service Delivery (PSD) to customers with respect to measurements/logging while drilling technologies and services. Previous training in relevant technologies and software is desirable.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, enjoy solving problems, and work well in teams. They must have strong interpersonal skills, be highly self-motivated, competent, and able to work in high-pressure environments, while being willing to learn and adapt to changing situations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Adhere to the client's Quality and QHSE policies and procedures.
* Represent the service provider at the wellsite and interface with the customer.
* Inform clients of any unusual job conditions and maintain direct contact throughout service delivery.
* Deliver services in line with directional drilling and MLWD processes-design, prepare, execute, and close.
* Ensure accurate inventory management and proper receiving/dispatching of equipment.
* Capture field data and ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
* Participate in job risk analysis and continuous improvement programs.
* Attend Service Quality Meetings and support performance improvements through action plans.
* Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
* Maintain all required safety training.
* Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards through CAT, self-assessments, and wellsite inspections.
Profile
* Two-year technical degree (associate degree) is desirable.
* Must have minimum three (3) years field and offshore experience leading any MLWD job.
* Ability to assist clients by providing solutions for drilling issues.
* Experience with end of well reports / client's final product delivery.
* Competency in industry-standard MLWD software (e.g., Maxwell, HSPM, DOX, PTK, etc.) is desirable.
* Have valid BOSIET, MSIC, ISI and OGUK medical certificate is desirable.
* Valid HR/ HC/ MC driver's license is desirable.
* Good interpersonal skills, excellent in communication, highly self-motivated, competent computer skills, and ability to learn new software.
* Can work in a high-pressure, learns quickly and adapts to new problems and situations.
* Ability to maintain, prepare and dispatch of equipment and execute high quality of service delivery at the wellsite, in terms of safety, quality and efficiency of operation.
* Must be a team player, able to get along with individuals from other groups in the organization, and a good communicator.
* Excellent English written and verbal communication skills essential.
