About the Role
As the Operations Manager APAC, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless service between our internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Chief Product and Operating Officer, you will oversee the execution of device production, inventory management, shipping installation and service for both new and existing customers.
This is a full-time position ideally located in Melbourne, however open to applicants from other states.
What You'll Do:
* Operations Planning: Own the creation and upkeep of customer documentation and field partner statements of work, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.
* Field Operations and Partner Management: Build and oversee a strong network of field service partners across APAC, ensuring quality delivery and operational excellence.
* Production, Warehousing and Logistics: Oversee the configuration, packing and shipping of Kepler SmartSensors, building a reliable network of logistics suppliers to ensure seamless distribution throughout the APAC region.
* Supplier and Inventory Management: Monitor current inventory levels, committed inventory and on-order inventory to determine available inventory versus expected customer demand
* Operational Capacity and Financial Oversight: Work with the project management team to oversee project budgets and ensure expenses are accurately tracked and within approved limits.
* Reporting, SLA Management and Continuous Improvement: Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations efficiency, resource utilisation, and customer satisfaction, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
* Team Leadership and Support: Lead and support the APAC teams responsible for hardware deployment, inventory warehousing, dispatch, and field deployment teams including installation and service technicians.
What you'll bring:
* Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Operations Management, Field Service Operations, Project Management or related field
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations or project management, preferably in a technical or operational environment
* Proficiency in the use of Salesforce, Asana, Zendesk or similar project management software
* Previous experience working with on-shore and off-shore teams and time zones.
* Familiarity with technical support processes and field operations
* Working knowledge of data management and quality assurance practices
* Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across different departments
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills
