Job Expectations
Be part of transforming Australia's digital landscape as a Customer Field Technician. In this customer‐facing role, you'll make a real difference to everyday Australians and see the impact of your work first‐hand.
About Your Role
As a Customer Field Technician you will deliver hands‐on installation, repair, activation and connection services in customers' homes, working indoor and outdoor.
You will use a variety of tools and test equipment to install, commission and service in‐home technologies, applying safe work practices. The work is active and field‐based: lifting, carrying, working at heights, in ceiling spaces, kneeling and standing. You will apply strong technical knowledge, methodical fault‐finding and attention to detail to complete work efficiently and safely.
Alongside technical work, you will provide clear and respectful in‐premise customer service, explaining findings, next steps and outcomes so customers feel informed and confident.
About You
You may be an electrical trade assistant, apprentice or qualified tradesperson with experience working onsite in residential and/or commercial environments.
You bring practical, hands‐on experience using tools, installing or assisting with cabling, preparing sites and supporting electrical or technical works in physically active settings. You understand the importance of safe onsite work, risk assessments, and work instructions.
You are comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, adapting to different environments and maintaining focus on repetitive technical work to a high standard.
You communicate clearly, work respectfully in customers' homes, collaborate effectively with others, and are open to learning, adaptable and motivated to develop a long‐term technical career.
A current driver's licence is essential and supports working in a mobile, field‐based role.
