Applications are invited from appropriately qualified and experienced candidates for a Textiles Technology Teaching position. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated knowledge of the relevant TAS syllabuses for Year 7-12 and the ability to teach up to Stage 6 Textiles. This is a temporary contract for Terms 1 and 2, with the possibility of ongoing appointment.
We are looking for applicants who support our Christian ethos and work in-school with a teacher as mentor. Trainees customarily spend one day a week on site, being paid to do so. We are seeking applicants who are training to teach in one of the following areas: General Primary, Agriculture, Creative and Performing Arts, English, HSIE, Learning Support, Maths, PDHPE, Science and TAS. A successful applicant will possess the capacity to encourage and inspire students in their love of learning.
