About the Opportunity
Join our Technical Services Team and bring art and performance to life across the Mildura Arts Centre. This hands‐on role spans theatre lighting, sound and production, exhibition installs, and artwork handling—supporting dynamic events while maintaining gallery and theatre equipment in a vibrant creative environment.
Qualifications
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
* Proven problem‐solving skills and a collaborative, team‐focused mindset
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Experience in exhibition installation/de‐installation and safe artwork handling
* Practical skills in theatre tech (lighting, sound, rigging) and AV equipment operation
* First Aid, Elevated Work Platform, Working at Heights, Electrical Safety Test and Tagging and Occupational Health and Safety qualifications relevant to the position are preferred.
* Currently holding or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance and Working With Children's Check
* Current Australian Drivers License
Salary and Conditions
The position is classified within Band 4 of Council's Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $44.67 to $47.76 (inclusive of 25% casual loading) per hour plus statutory superannuation.
