About the Role
In this dynamic and rewarding position, you will provide high‐quality administrative and clerical support across a diverse range of operational functions within Hunter New England Population Health. Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team, you will help ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of services that support both staff and the wider community.
Responsibilities
* Supporting rostering and payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely outcomes
* Assisting with recruitment and onboarding coordination activities
* Managing procurement tasks, including purchase requisitions and basic financial processes
* Maintaining accurate records, documentation, and data entry across systems
* Supporting financial reporting and administrative tracking requirements
* Managing enquiries via phone, email, and face‐to‐face interactions in a professional manner
* Assisting with general office administration, facilities coordination, and equipment support
In this role, you will be a key point of contact within the team, working closely with clinicians, staff, and members of the public. You will contribute to a service culture that is professional, efficient, and culturally respectful, while helping ensure high‐quality support is delivered every day.
What We're Looking For
You are a motivated, organised, and community-minded administration professional who enjoys working collaboratively in a fast‐paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service. You bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, a positive team‐focused attitude, and the ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and attention to detail.
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have experience in administration or clerical support, including areas such as payroll, rostering, recruitment administration, data entry, records management, and general office coordination. Knowledge of medical terminology and medical typing will be highly regarded.
