About Our RoleSimplot Devonport are seeking motivated applicants for opportunities within our Production department ahead of our 2025 / 2026 season.
Simplot Devonport has a proud history in the local community, with the site opening in 1942 and employing thousands of Tasmanians.
With the ability to process up to 28 tonnes per hour of fresh, locally grown Tasmanian vegetables destined for the frozen vegetable market, these opportunities will contribute to the intake, processing, packing, transport and storage of a number of crops including peas, beans, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, onions and brussel sprouts.
Working 8 hour shifts across a 7 day roster (including day, afternoon and night shifts) with a focus on safety & quality within a contemporary, progressive facility.
The first intake for the season will commence late October 2025.
Base hourly rates of $40.15 p/h (including 25% casual loading) plus shift loadings and overtime where applicable.
