About the role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Cabinet Maker Apprentice to join our team at migdesign' in Welland, South Australia. This is a full-time role where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the art of cabinet making under the guidance of our experienced team.
What you'll be doing
1. Gain hands-on experience in the full cabinet making process, from design to construction and installation
2. Learn to read and interpret technical drawings to create high-quality custom cabinetry and furniture
3. Develop proficiency in the use of hand and power tools, as well as woodworking machinery
4. Assist with the planning and organisation of projects to ensure timely completion
5. Work closely with the senior cabinet makers to refine your techniques and problem-solving skills
6. Maintain a clean and organised workspace to support efficient and safe operations
What we're looking for
1. A keen interest in and passion for carpentry and cabinet making
2. Strong eye for detail and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
3. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
4. A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
5. Good organisational and time management skills
6. A positive attitude and willingness to learn
