About the role
The Mental Health Clinician is part of the Mudgee Community Mental Health & Drug and Alcohol Service and provides Acute Mental Health Clinical Case-Management services as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team. This clinician will provide acute mental health support for clients of all ages, but predominantly adult clients, in the Mudgee Region who are experiencing a mental illness.
This position sits in the community of Mudgee, a town renowned for its food and wine festivals, beautiful parks and gardens, walking trails and cycling tracks, sports venues and community engagement.
Mudgee MHDA is an innovative mental health service providing a one stop hub and support for people experiencing a mental illness and has strong professional links with other health professionals in the region. It is based within Mudgee Hospital and operates Mon – Fri (8:30am to 5pm).
The successful applicant will be supported through a comprehensive Orientation process and strong opportunities exist for ongoing professional development.
