Overview AYAN InfoTech is looking for DevOps Engineer to join an exciting project based in Sydney.
The role offers you the opportunity to contribute towards an extremely well structured and mature environment, working on sophisticated enhancement projects.
Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Sydney
Contract Duration: 6 Months with high possible extensions
Experience: 5+ Years
Responsibilities Coordinate with offshore DevOps Engineers and uplift DevOps & Quality in applicable areas (not an Infra/Cloud Engineer with DevOps tooling) to support the project.
Offshore coordination, assess current SDLC maturity, influence quality by driving DevOps uplift, automation, and ways of working.
Design and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
Qualifications & Skills 5+ years scripting and automation with Python, Shell, JavaScript, Terraform, Ansible, and REST API integrations.
Robust AWS skills: EC2, S3, networking, Kubernetes (EKS), OpenShift (ROSA), and cloud automation.
Experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Bamboo with Git version control.
Skilled in integrating security, monitoring, and observability tools like Snyk, Fortify, Dynatrace, Splunk, and ServiceNOW.
Familiar with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and automated testing tools to improve delivery pipelines.
Knowledge of AI-enhanced tooling and development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) is highly preferred.
