We are looking for someone to assist the construction manager with specialised retail refurbishments, light industrial projects as well as data/comms projects working with other electrical contractors. MECS Electrical & Controls continues to expand, and we are looking for someone with the passion and drive to lead our electrical and data projects. Our client base spans across commercial buildings, industrial facilities, national retail chains and transport hubs — giving you exposure to a wide range of exciting and technically challenging projects.
Your role will include:
* Estimating, designing and delivering projects for blue chip clients throughout Perth.
* Growing the data and ELV department of the business along side our Fire Detection team.
* Contributing to weekly team meetings with other managers.
* Effectively managing people and resources to deliver projects: on time, on budget, and to client expectations.
* Collaborating with the Construction Manager on tendering processes, providing insights into project feasibility, costs, and potential risks.
* Acting as a key liaison between clients and the company, maintaining strong relationships and developing new opportunities.
About You:
* Proven experience in project management within electrical contracting and telecommunications sectors.
* Trade-qualified electrician with strong technical knowledge of data/comms.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
