Galambila AboriginalHealth Service is seeking an experienced and values driven operational leaderto join our Executive Leadership Team as General Manager, Operations.
This is a rareopportunity to contribute to a growing Aboriginal Community Controlled HealthOrganisation delivering culturally safe, integrated and community led healthservices on Gumbaynggirr Country.
We are looking for ahighly capable operator who can confidently lead across complex clinical andsocial health environments, while also supporting and developing a growing teamof emerging managers and leaders. This role requires someone who can balancestrategic thinking with strong day to day operational leadership, workforcesupport and service oversight.
About the Role
Reporting directly tothe Chief Executive Officer, the General Manager, Operations provides executiveleadership across Galambila’s core operational service areas including clinicalhealth care services, social health programs, child and family health servicesand quality/systems improvement.
You will work closely with a developingleadership team to provide coaching, guidance and operational support acrossthe organisation. The successful candidate will be a strong and credible leaderwho can navigate complexity, manage competing priorities and build effectiveworking relationships across all levels of the organisation.
About You
You are an experiencedhealth or community services leader with strong operational capability and theclinical credibility to oversee a broad range of multidisciplinary services.
You are highlyorganised, adaptable and solutions focused, with the ability to balancestrategic priorities alongside the realities of day-to-day operationalleadership.
You will bring:
* Significantleadership experience within health, community or social health services
* Strongunderstanding of clinical governance, service quality and risk management
* Provenability to lead and support managers and multidisciplinary teams
* Demonstrated experienceinfluencing positive workplace culture and driving operational or serviceimprovement initiatives
* Experiencenavigating organisational change, workforce challenges and competing priorities
* Excellentcommunication, coaching and relationship building skills
* Acollaborative and emotionally intelligent leadership style
* Strongunderstanding of culturally safe and community centred service delivery
* Experience workingwithin an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation or withAboriginal communities will be highly regarded.
