Surveyor / Survey Technician Sydney NSW | Residential Construction & Land Development About the Opportunity We are partnering with a growing New South Wales-based surveying company that provides surveying services to some of Sydney's leading residential builders, developers and construction contractors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking a Surveyor or Survey Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a variety of residential construction and land development projects, delivering accurate survey data and set-out services that directly contribute to successful project outcomes. The Role Working across residential building sites throughout Sydney and surrounding areas, you will be responsible for carrying out construction set-out, contour surveys, as-built surveys and survey data management. You will work closely with builders, site supervisors, project managers and developers to ensure projects are delivered accurately and efficiently from commencement through to completion. Key Responsibilities Undertake construction set-out for residential building projects including custom homes, duplexes, townhouses and multi-residential developments Complete feature and contour surveys for new developments and existing sites Conduct as-built surveys and site measurements Operate Trimble GPS, Total Stations and associated surveying equipment Process and manage survey data to ensure accuracy and compliance Export and prepare survey files for use in Magnet software Perform survey calculations, quality checks and data verification Liaise with builders, site supervisors and project stakeholders Maintain accurate survey records and documentation Assist in delivering projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience as a Surveyor or Survey Technician within residential construction, land development or engineering surveying Strong experience with construction set-out and contour surveying Proficiency using Trimble survey equipment and software Experience processing and exporting survey data into Magnet software Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Current NSW Driver Licence Relevant surveying qualification or industry experience highly regarded What's on Offer Competitive salary package based on experience - $80K - $110k Company vehicle and fuel card Modern Trimble surveying equipment and technology Strong pipeline of residential construction and development projects Long-term career stability with a growing surveying business Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Supportive team environment and experienced leadership Opportunity to work with some of Sydney's leading builders and developers Clear pathway for career progression as the business continues to expand Why Apply?
