Overview
We are offering a six‑month paid Transition to Practice Program for endorsed Enrolled Nurses in aged care. The program begins February 2026 and provides clinical support, education, and rotation across multiple lodges.
Program Details
- 6‑month paid program commencing February 2026.
- Dedicated clinical support provided, including supernumerary time and education days.
- 7‑day rotating roster across all shifts.
- Prospect for ongoing part‑time or full‑time employment upon successful completion.
- Work schedule of 48 hours per fortnight.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence‑based, high‑quality care to aged‑care patients.
- Demonstrate excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Deliver consumer‑centred care in line with Barwon Health standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and senior staff to support patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, recently graduated.
- Sound clinical knowledge and competency in aged‑care nursing.
- Current influenza vaccination (2025) and ability to provide evidence.
- Valid immunisation status and Staff Care clearance.
