You will contribute to the successful, prudent financial management and ongoing development of the National Electricity Market (NEM) and east-coast gas markets. Using your leadership skills, you will mentor and coach team members to drive operational excellence and assist in the day to day management of the team. You will work under minimal supervision to solve complex operational issues and drive change.What you will bring to the rolePassion for energy with an understanding of the energy sector. Senior Analysts should have a detailed understanding of the changes the energy sector and how these affect AEMO.At least 3 years’ (Analyst) or 6 years’ (Senior Analyst) experience in an analytical role in the energy, financial or similar industries.Degree in economics, computing, commerce, engineering, science or a related discipline.Dedicated to self-improvement and an effective team player.Excellent analysis skills and Excel capability. Familiarity working with databases, SQL and VBA will be viewed favourably.
