About the Role:
As a dedicated healthcare professional, you will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality care. This involves combining clinical expertise with supportive leadership to ensure the smooth and effective running of the ward or unit.
You will work closely with the Nurse or Midwife Unit Manager to guide and mentor your team, fostering a culture of collaboration, respect, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to practice improvement and continuity of care
* Support staff development, resource management, and day-to-day operational responsibilities
* Implement positive change and contribute to the overall quality of patient outcomes
Requirements:
* Dedicated and compassionate nursing professional
* Lead with integrity, collaboration, and clinical excellence
* Qualified and Registered Professional – Registered (or eligible) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practising certificate relevant to your specialty
* Experienced Clinician – Minimum of three years' post-registration experience with proven competence in your area of practice and experience mentoring or supervising others
* Collaborative and Effective Communicator – Skilled in teamwork, problem solving, conflict resolution, and fostering positive professional relationships
