The team's work often involves high-value assets, sensitive stakeholder environments, public scrutiny and material financial implications.The practice advises private, institutional and government clients across all asset classes, with services spanning transaction and deal advisory, asset and development strategy, and implementation and delivery. A key differentiator is the focus on outcomes — not just reports — by working alongside clients to execute strategy and manage delivery risk.This role sits within a nationally integrated real estate advisory platform and forms part of the broader KordaMentha group, providing access to multidisciplinary capability and trusted senior relationships across Australia and New Zealand.We are seeking an experiencedAssociate Directorto join KordaMentha's Real Estate Advisory team. In this role, you will lead high-impact engagements and deliver commercial advice across both private and public sector clients, with a particular focus on lender and government-related work.You will work across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage feasibility analysis and project review through to delivery, while collaborating across multiple service lines, including Restructuring, Public Sector Advisory and Major Projects Advisory.This is a broad and varied opportunity, offering exposure to senior executives, government stakeholders and lenders on high‐value, high‐impact projects across multiple asset classes, client groups and delivery models.In this role, you will:Lead end-to-end delivery of real estate advisory engagements, setting direction and ensuring alignment with client commercial, policy and governance objectives.Oversee due diligence and market analysis, translating findings into strategic, evidence‐based insights.Own and challenge financial models and feasibility analyses, clearly articulating key drivers, risks and investment implications.Lead transaction and commercial advisory mandates, including strategy, negotiations and coordination of advisers and stakeholders.Drive lender-led and asset repositioning engagements, developing and implementing restructuring and value recovery strategies.Prepare and present business cases and investment papers, delivering clear, decision‐ready recommendations to senior and board-level stakeholders.Oversee high-quality client deliverables, ensuring outputs meet senior audience expectations across government, finance and corporate sectors.Build and manage client relationships while contributing to business growth, including mentoring team members and leading proposalQualifications We are looking for a commercially minded advisory professional who brings strong technical capability, sound judgement and the confidence to lead complex engagements.
