Description Your day to day • Warmly welcome guests and escort or guide them to Reception as appropriate. • Assist with guest luggage handling, delivery, and secure storage. • Organise and deliver special guest amenities, including welcome setups and personalised requests. • Oversee driveway traffic and coordinate deliveries at the loading dock efficiently. • Manage guest bookings for Concierge Services accurately and promptly. • Ensure consistently high standards of customer service across Reception and Lobby areas. • Record, manage, and resolve guest complaints in a professional and timely manner. • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities and services, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance guest engagement and up-selling. • Keep abreast of daily events, functions, and VIP/group arrivals, while providing personalised guidance and recommendations on local attractions and experiences to enhance the guest stay. • Respond promptly and effectively to guest enquiries, issues, and requests. • Manage Adelaidean Resident apartment services and monthly billing with accuracy and professionalism. • Support Front Office operations and checklists as required. • Promptly report any accidents, incidents, or hazards to the Manager or OH&S representative. • Perform other duties as required to ensure smooth departmental operation. What we need from you • Previous hotel experience is advantageous • Positive attitude, strong willingness to learn • Strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests, colleagues, and partners. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Front Office systems, including Opera. • Strong problem-solving, organisational, motivational, and training abilities. • Physically fit to meet the demands of the role. o Frequent walking, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, and stooping. o Regular lifting/carrying of loads up to 25kg; occasional pushing/pulling of heavier loads (trolleys over 50kg). o Extended work at computer screens.
