A Snapshot of Your Day

Join our Compression Regional Service Sales within Siemens Energy TI Compression as a Client Manager. Within the region, we support more than 100 customers from the Oil & Gas, chemical and industrial sectors for their service requirements on compressors. You will be involved in some of the most exciting and challenging service and modernization projects within these industries. This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It will require strong people management and commercial skills, ensuring flawless execution of all tasks.

How You'll Make an Impact

* Proactively and systematically prospect the compression service market aiming to generate new leads and opportunities.
* Represent Siemens Energy in pre-contract dealings with customers including negotiations.
* Perform forecasting, reporting and win-loss analysis and deliver on agreed annual sales targets for the Compression service business for the designated country / customer base.
* Identify, create and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline in Salesforce to support overall business sales target.
* Develop the sales capture plan and strategy around each customer in your responsibility, incorporating the customer needs, equipment application, Siemens Energy strengths, competitor's weaknesses and a robust market level pricing recommendation based on the assessment of competitive edge.
* Understand the evaluation and decision-making process of customers and develop a strategy to position Siemens Energy ahead of the competition.
* Effectively manage opportunities via CRM Tool (Salesforce.com), ensuring opportunities are regularly updated and maintained in accordance with company policy. The Client Manager is encouraged to ensure funnel accuracy and attend regular reviews to update management on order intake and forecasted opportunities.
* Meet the quarterly and years Order Entry targets for the region and sub region.

What You Bring

* Proven track record in compression/rotating equipment service sales achieving results, delivering on growth strategies and proactive creation & conversion of sales opportunities in complex market environments.
* Bachelor of Science in Engineering required with a minimum 10 years of experience in Energy industry and at least 5 years in sales/business development role.
* Turbomachinery experience/knowledge is required, strong technical understanding of industrial compressors is preferred.
* Business English speaking and writing skills are necessary.
* Ability to work independently and interact with all levels within customer organization, strong analytical and strategic problem solver with a focus on technical differentiation and value selling.
* Proficient in communication, both written and spoken, be able to discuss technical and commercial aspects.
* Willingness to travel as required.
