Deploy Medical in partnership with Marlu Health are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Health Nurse to join our regional team in South Hedland, supporting our commitment to providing gold‐standard pre‐employment medical assessments across multiple industry sectors.
In this role, our Occupational Health Nurses play a key role in assessing health metrics to ensure our client's workforce can safely perform their work duties.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct pre‐employment and periodic health assessments inclusive of medical exams, history taking, audiometry, spirometry & functional assessments.
* Perform drug and alcohol screening.
* Maintain accurate clinical records in line with regulatory requirements.
* Write and provide supporting documentation to General Practitioners when required.
* Collaborate with Allied Health Teams to ensure gold‐standard of healthcare.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse (AHPRA registration required).
* Experience in occupational health preferred but not essential.
* Strong understanding of pre‐employment medical assessments & screening tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable to work within appointment‐based setting.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a growing organisation.
* Strong organisational and documentation skills.
* Current driver's licence (required).
* Willing to work between clinics in Perth Metro when required based on client demand.
Desirable Skills
* Experience in injury management and workers' compensation processes.
* Certification in audiometry, spirometry, or drug & alcohol testing – Training can be provided internally.
* Previous experience or exposure to mining, resources and oil & gas sector.
