We are currently seeking experienced and goal‐driven Wellsite Representatives to oversee the P&A programs for a highly regarded Tier-1 client in Queensland starting ASAP. Amongst other things, the Wellsite Rep will supervise day‐to‐day site operations for Drilling and Well Servicing activities by ensuring safety, compliance with project objectives and quality of works. They will also ensure that site reporting requirements, documentation and quality management systems are followed.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure Company compliance with relevant law, including implementation of Companys HSEMS.
* Act as the SSM under Section 692 of the PAG (Production and Safety) Act (Qld).
* Provide on-site assurance for activities including drilling, completions, workovers, stimulations, coiled tubing, and rigless interventions.
* Monitor Contractor (and other Third Party) execution against Company‐approved work programs.
* Promote and enforce a safe and healthy work environment while protecting environmental values.
* As the SSM, the WSR is responsible for:
o Implementing Companys SMP and EMP on Site.
o Ensuring all Site entrants receive appropriate safety inductions (as per PAG Act s702).
o Verifying compliance with standard operating procedures and emergency response measures.
o Overseeing proper use and maintenance of first aid and safety equipment, ensuring availability and accessibility for authorised Personnel.
o Ensuring all Personnel are trained in Site‐specific emergency and general safety procedures.
o Monitoring Site practices to prevent exposure to unacceptable levels of risk to Personnel and/or property.
* For the avoidance of doubt, the scope of the "operating plant" includes the well and/or petroleum tenement.
Mandatory Requirements
* WHS Certification Certificate IV in WHS (to be acquired no later than within three (3) months of commencement).
* Senior first aid certificate.
* Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in oil and gas operations (preferably 10 years in CSG or related sectors).
* Well control certification supervisory level 4 drilling, surface BOP Stack (accredited and internationally recognised).
* Australian driver's licence (or equivalent).
* Demonstrated knowledge of:
o Companys SMP and EMP.
o Hazard identification and mitigation strategies relevant to Well‐Site operations.
Desired Requirements
* Recognised qualification or proven capability and experience in the relevant discipline, such as:
* Drilling
* Completions
* Well intervention or stimulation operations.
