About the role
The Workshop Trade Assistant role will be a full range of workshop duties from unloading shipment containers to basic preparation of new forklifts. This role also involves the following, but is not limited to:
* Basic prep of new and used forklifts
* Forklift operations
* Assist workshop where needed
* Wash down and detail machines
* Pick up and deliveries
* Packing and shipping of orders
* Loading and unloading trucks
* Unpacking overseas freight
* Any other duties that may be reasonably required from time to time.
What you'll need to succeed
* A genuine interest in mechanical equipment
* Ability to undertake manual physical work
* Punctual, reliable, and energetic
* Forklift industry preferred
* Minimum 12 month as a T / A essential
* Manual driver's license
* Forklift License
* HR drivers license preferred but not essential
