About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Officer to join our team in the Perth office with regular site visits. You will be a key member of the site commercial team, serving as the main contact for coordinating and processing purchase requisitions for goods and services in Pronto across all site departments. This role ensures that each request is backed by the required documentation and aligns with the Company's Procurement Policy. In addition, the position is responsible for receipting services and upholding accuracy, compliance, and efficiency throughout the procurement workflow.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and enter departmental purchase requisitions into Pronto, ensuring alignment with broader supply chain requirements.
* Confirm all supporting documentation is in place, such as quotations, scopes of work, approvals, and supplier registration forms.
* Expedite purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
* Manage the receipting of goods and services in coordination with requisition originators to support timely payment cycles.
* Monitor delivery timelines and follow up with suppliers and end users to maintain continuity of supply.
* Ensure all activities adhere to the Procurement Policy, Delegation of Authority Policy, and supply chain procedures.
* Provide guidance to end users on supply chain processes, documentation standards, and sourcing best practices.
* Track and report KPIs related to supply chain efficiency, compliance, on‐time delivery, and service turnaround.
* Liaise with departments to complete and validate New Supplier Forms before submission.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance requisition, receipting, and inventory control workflows.
* Support training and communication initiatives to improve understanding of supply chain requirements across the site.
* Undertake other duties as directed by the Warehouse Coordinator and Commercial Manager.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative coordination roles.
* Certificate III/IV in Business Administration, Procurement, or similar (preferred).
* Valid driver's licence.
* Strong understanding of procurement principles, ideally in the resources or industrial sector.
* High attention to detail, exceptional time management and organizational skills.
* Demonstrated ability to apply policy and procedural compliance.
* Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
