Behavioural Support Specialist
This role involves working in diverse settings, including residential and community environments. The Behavioural Support Practitioner will utilize assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing funding opportunities.
* Develop Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies using positive behaviour support framework.
* Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) to inform programme development.
* Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.
The successful candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification, such as an Occupational Therapy or Psychology degree, and relevant registration. A minimum of 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner is also required.
