About the role
Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in your community?
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Primary and Preventative Health team as a Youth Engagement Officer.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the Live4Life program in Southern Grampians, working alongside the inspiring group of local youth leaders who make up the Crew.
As Live4Life Crew Support Worker, you’ll help empower Crew (Year 9 & 10 students) to promote positive mental health, reduce stigma, and build stronger connections across the community through youth-led mental health promotion activities and events..
You’ll also work with young people, schools, and community organisations to deliver Live4Life and other creative, youth-focused initiatives that support health, wellbeing, and inclusion for people aged 12–25.
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about working with young people and supporting their leadership, participation, and wellbeing.
- Has qualifications (or equivalent experience) in youth work, community development, or a related field.
- Brings creativity and energy, with experience in event planning or promotion/graphic design highly valued.
- Is willing to complete Youth Mental Health First Aid training (if not already qualified).

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police Check, Working with Children Check Clearance and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
All successful applicants are to comply with WDHS immunisation and vaccination requirements.
