Home Care Worker (2) - Lake Macquarie - Casual - Experienced
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to support older members of our community in the Swansea area.
The role involves providing general housekeeping, personal care, and transportation services to help clients maintain their independence at home.
What We're Looking For
Enjoy having variety in your daily tasks.
Build positive relationships with clients and their families.
Care for aged community members to live independently at home for longer.
Work independently and seek help from management when needed.
Hold an open Australian Driver's Licence with your own insured, road-worthy vehicle.
Have at least 3 months of experience in a similar care role.
Responsibilities
General housekeeping: making beds, cleaning, mopping, vacuuming floors.
Laundry: washing, folding, ironing.
Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
Personal care: assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting.
Mobility and therapy goal support.
Provide complex care for high-care needs, including dementia.
Offer social and emotional support.
Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments.
Support family carer by allowing time for other activities.
