Responsibilities
Build strong connections with local communities to improve wellbeing for children, families, and the broader Wimmera community.
Support community development by coordinating services and ensuring they work seamlessly for those who need them most.
Lead the Wimmera Child and Family Alliance partnership funded by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH); turn ideas into action, plan innovative initiatives and track their impact.
Engage with the community by listening to local voices, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and championing initiatives that leave a lasting impact.
Ensure services not only meet needs but create positive and meaningful experiences for children and families.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in social work, community development, public policy, or a related discipline.
Current Driver's Licence.
Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating service coordination and improvement initiatives, supported by strong project management and analytical skills.
Comprehensive understanding of the Children and Family Services sector, including relevant legislation, strategic frameworks, and standards.
Strong experience in developing partnerships and engaging stakeholders across government and community sectors.
Benefits
Base hourly rate (SCHADS Level 5) plus superannuation.
17.5% leave loading.
Salary packaging up to $15,900 per year to increase take-home pay.
