My client is a well-established FMCG manufacturer, recognised for producing high-quality consumer products across the Australian market. With a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement, an opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Planner to join the team at a large regional manufacturing site. This role is based in a regional location in Northern NSW, offering a lifestyle opportunity alongside a stable and growing business.
The Role
Reporting into the Engineering function, the responsibilities of the role include:
* Developing and managing preventative and predictive maintenance schedules
* Coordinating maintenance activities to minimise downtime and optimise plant performance
* Planning labour, materials and resources for both planned and unplanned work
* Managing CMMS systems, ensuring accurate data, job tracking and reporting
* Liaising closely with Maintenance, Production and Engineering teams to prioritise work
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance processes and reliability
* Supporting shutdown planning and execution
Your Background
In order to be successful in this role, you will be:
* Experienced in a Maintenance Planner or similar role within a manufacturing environment
* Familiar with CMMS systems and maintenance planning methodologies
* Strong in planning, scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities
* Technically minded, with either a trade or engineering background
* A strong communicator, able to work cross-functionally with operations teams
* Detail-oriented with a proactive and organised approach
* Experience within FMCG or a similar fast‐paced environment highly regarded
