About the opportunity
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, as a Medical Sales Representative based in or near the Sunshine Coast you will be responsible for promoting our client's market leading portfolio to General Practitioners in the surrounding Territory.
Responsibilities
* Increase product sales and drive market share
* Conduct necessary educational activities
* Meet sales call requirements
* Organise and host events like dinner presentations and luncheons
* Collaborate effectively with the territory team to achieve collective success
* Become an expert in the therapeutic area, product and market
* Create proactive territory business plans
* Be adaptable and proficient in understanding the most recent clinical information for your portfolio
* Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals
* Maintain a high level of clinical and professional expertise
Skills & Experience required
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Business/Science graduate looking to take their first step in healthcare within Pharmaceuticals.
* Bachelor Degree qualification required (Science/Medicine or Business preferred)
* Proven Pharmaceuticals sales experience, highly regarded
* Strong Commercial & Clinical Acumen
* Previous Sales Experience required for first-time entrants into Pharmaceuticals
* Field sales/territory management experience, highly regarded
* Superior communication skills
* Able to work autonomously & collaboratively
* Full drivers license with no less than 6-demerit points
