As a part of the Aquatec Maxcon team, you'll join a group of passionate professionals who work safely, and responsibly to deliver world class solutions to exciting new projects. This role offers the opportunity to work in a diverse engineering department, facing challenges of designing and commissioning treatment plants that make a real difference to the water industry.
You will
* Provide engineering support, advice and design input to the efficient presentation of proposals and delivery for applications, upgrade and creation of client's water and wastewater assets, with a particular focus on water treatment plants
* A demonstrated ability to carry out process and hydraulic design of water treatment equipment, and processes
* Provide process engineering analysis to optimise operation of proposals for treatment plants with regard to safety, quality and cost
* Provide quality assurance and design engineering sign off for both the construction and commissioning phases of projects, including performance testing
* Review final plant/process design for projects to undertake plant optimisation
* Perform risk assessments and actively participate in safety reviews and HAZOPs and safety in design
* Assist in the development of client relationships that will positively impact business opportunities.
Applicants will ideally have
* Tertiary qualifications in either chemical or process engineering
* 5 years Australian process design engineering experience
* Ideally RPEQ or progressing toward achieving it
* Ability to travel and provide commissioning assistance when required at sites remote from the office
* Previous experience working with water treatment projects and government instrumentalities will be well regarded
