Job Description
Manage multi-disciplinary construction project schedules including design, engineering, construction, commissioning and integration of the contractor's schedule.
Pre-baseline reviews of contractor's programs to check adherence to the required contractual requirements and industry standard scheduling practices.
Prepare progress update reports and highlight key schedule risks and opportunities to clients.
Recommend corrective action and create acceleration programs in case of major delays.
Conduct delay analysis and assist in claims management.
Arrange meetings with multiple client-side stakeholders to understand their inputs and deliverables during the project and create an Integrated Master Works Program.
Qualifications
Degree in Construction Management or Engineering, plus 10 years of scheduling experience in medium to large construction environments, especially data centre or semiconductor / high-tech sectors.
Must be able to assist the project team in planning workflow and phasing as required.
Proven experience in construction project schedule management overseeing the development of project schedules and a proven track record of managing and integrating multiple schedules within complex programmes.
Strong ability to extract information from construction drawings, specifications, contracts and proposal documents.
Ability to estimate construction duration by quantity take-off and resource/execution assumptions is a must.
Expert level proficiency on Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and in-depth knowledge of both.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple customers and stakeholders, willing to be based on site.
A team player, inquisitive, self-starter with a keen eye for details and ability to learn quickly.
