About The Role
The Senior Trainer plays a key leadership role within the RISE Training Hub, supporting trainees to progress through the RISE Employment Pathway and achieve their employment goals.
Working closely with the Lead Trainer and broader RISE team, the Senior Trainer provides both individual and group‐based training, workplace coaching, and mentoring. The role also supports trainees undertaking work experience placements within RISE and with participating local businesses.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering high‐quality 1:1 and group‐based training aligned with the RISE Employment Pathway.
* Supporting trainees to develop workplace skills, independence, and employment readiness.
* Assisting trainees to meet and exceed their individual employment goals.
* Developing and maintaining training resources that align with the RISE Employment Pathway.
* Providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to Trainers within the hub.
* Supporting the onboarding and development of new Trainers.
* Promoting best practice approaches to participant support and training delivery.
* Contributing to the continuous improvement, quality, and implementation of the RISE Employment Pathway.
* Assisting the Operations Lead to monitor, track, and report on trainee progression against pathway competencies.
* Building positive relationships with trainees, families, support networks, employers, and community stakeholders.
