This role leads a team of 20 staff in kitchen and dining operations, maintaining positive client relationships and delivering excellence in service.
Responsibilities
* Cost control and financial reporting
* High-level catering for events and functions (internal and external stakeholders)
* Establishing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships
* Working across function and retail operations
* Communicating and working collaboratively with the client on all aspects of delivering a quality service to achieve mutually rewarding outcomes
* Developing leadership and employee capability, fostering a high‐performance culture through continuous improvement and innovation
* Driving operational efficiency to maximise financial results without compromising quality
Qualifications
* Demonstrated management experience, hospitality qualifications with business management preferred
* Experience in a comparable or multi‐site catering environment
* Certifications in Cookery (Cert III or IV)
* Ability to connect with key stakeholders and deliver superior service levels
* Commercially savvy and able to identify and deliver on growth opportunities
* Proactive leader who is professional, positive, supportive and motivated, with experience in recruiting, mentoring, training and developing a team of hospitality professionals
