As a Senior Sales Engineer at Honeywell, you will drive customer acquisition and revenue by delivering tailored, end‐to‐end solutions using our products and integrations. You'll act as a technical expert, collaborate cross‐functionally, and support the sales team through coaching and hands‐on engagement to achieve strong customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Support profitable and strategic sales growth, drive customer acquisition, establish market demand, and grow business with new and existing customers.
* Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, accessible way to both internal sales teams and customer stakeholders.
* Ensure clear estimates and well‐defined scopes of work are provided to the sales team, supporting accurate customer proposals.
* Ensure alignment between proposed solutions and delivery capabilities, confirming that what is sold can be successfully implemented.
* Maintain a deep understanding of new product features and upcoming roadmap releases, demonstrating these to the sales team and training them on technical and customer use cases.
* Own the completion of customer‐requested information security documentation, ensuring all compliance and privacy standards are clearly addressed and communicated to the customer.
* Lead the technical scoping of customer solutions and confidently conduct customer‐facing demos and discussions, addressing customer technical requirements and compliance with security standards.
* Support the Account Executives with pre‐sales presentations to customers and become a trusted advisor.
* Provide ongoing coaching and support to the sales team in winning opportunities, determine technical components related to customer requirements, and provide market feedback to all areas of the business.
* Establish and build trusted relationships with customers by providing expert technical guidance, ensuring confidence throughout the pre‐sales stage and beyond.
Education / Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience
* Demonstrated experience in the Software as a Service (SaaS), Access Control, Apps or related business-to-business industry.
* 5+ years as an individual contributor technical and/or commercial representative.
* Experience supporting a full sales cycle with estimation, solution design and strategy.
* Sales experience in the commercial buildings or SaaS industry preferred.
* Experience collaborating cross‐functionally with Offering, Engineering and Sales teams.
* Understands how to build sales strategies from market data across multiple geographies/industries and uses a common‐sense approach to execution.
