Role Description

The Bid Manager leads the end-to-end tender and proposal process for Evolve FM, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and commercially competitive submissions that support business growth across facilities management and corporate real estate services. This role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages bid timelines, and develops clear, compelling content that aligns with client requirements and organisational strategy. It covers opportunities across hard and soft services, integrated facilities management, maintenance, asset management, and corporate real estate. this role is based in Sydney .

Main Responsiblties

* Manage the full bid lifecycle from opportunity validation through to submission and post-tender activities.
* Coordinate tender responses for facilities management contracts across nominated sectors.
* Review Request for Tender (RFT), Request for Proposal (RFP), Expressions of Interest (EOI), and other procurement documents.
* Develop bid plans, timelines, compliance matrices, and submission strategies.
* Ensure all submissions are completed accurately, professionally, and within deadlines.

Content Development & Proposal Writing

* Prepare and edit high-quality bid responses, executive summaries, methodologies, and capability statements.
* Tailor responses to client requirements, evaluation criteria, and win themes.
* Maintain and improve bid libraries, templates, case studies, CVs, and supporting documentation.
* Collaborate with operational teams to gather technical, commercial, and service delivery information.

Stakeholder Coordination

* Facilitate collaboration between operations, finance, HSE, procurement, HR, and senior management teams.
* Chair bid kick-off meetings, progress reviews, and submission sign-off sessions.
* Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and supporting information.

Commercial & Compliance

* Support pricing and commercial strategy development alongside finance and operational teams.
* Ensure compliance with tender requirements, contractual obligations, and company governance standards.
* Identify tender risks, opportunities, and key differentiators.
* Proven experience in bid management, tender coordination, or proposal management within facilities management, property services, construction, engineering, or a related industry
* Strong understanding of facilities management services, including integrated FM solutions
* Excellent written communication and document management skills
* Strong project management and organisational ability, with capacity to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
* High attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tender management platforms
* Experience with government and large commercial tenders is highly desirable
* Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)
* Strategic thinking and commercial awareness
* Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
* Excellent time management and ability to prioritise effectively
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Leadership capability with a proactive, team-oriented approach
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
