About the role
As a Midwife, you will provide high-quality, culturally respectful care to women and babies through pregnancy, labour, birth, and postnatal periods. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conduct antenatal assessments and high-risk pregnancy screening
* Provide care during labour, including monitoring and examinations
* Deliver postnatal care and support for mothers and newborns
* Perform newborn screening tests and document results
* Promote positive health outcomes for women and families
What You'll Need
* Current AHPRA registration as a Midwife
* Minimum three years' midwifery experience
* Unrestricted working rights in Australia
* Ability to work independently and adapt to remote/rural settings
