The Data Transformation team aims to revolutionize the way we operate, focusing on future-proof ways of working. With growing strategic and project requirements, there's an opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence Lead to join us on a 12-month contract.
About The Role
This position will strengthen our data infrastructure, ensure data accuracy, and deliver actionable insights to support informed decision-making. You'll drive the development of robust reporting solutions, promote continuous improvement, and collaborate across departments while advocating best practices in data management, documentation, and user training.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the capture and analysis of business requirements for BI solution design.
* Develop solution designs for BI and reporting products aligned with business needs.
* E nsure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous quality assurance and control processes.
* Implement and maintain CI/CD processes to support BI and reporting product development.
* Produce and maintain high-quality internal and customer-facing documentation.
* Train and support users in transforming data into actionable insights.
* Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Provide expert input into metric development and reporting design to monitor and improve data quality.
Relevant Experience
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications in Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
* Experience with data warehousing, data management, and CI/CD for data products.
* Proficient with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SSRS) and data modeling.
* Strong SQL skills and experience in data cleansing, transformation, and validation.
* Proven ability to build insightful dashboards and reporting solutions.
* Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience documenting data products and managing changes and service impacts.
* Able to gather requirements, translate them into reporting solutions, and work independently.
* Desirable: Python (Spark, Pandas) and Microsoft Fabric.
