About The Opportunity

We operate more than 60 laboratories and around 200 collection centres across NSW and conduct over 60 million tests per annum. Our network of pathologists is supported by scientists, technicians and support staff who quickly and accurately assess samples so clinical teams can make the best possible treatment decisions for patients. Our Forensic & Analytical Science Service provides independent, objective analysis to the NSW criminal and coronial justice systems.

Responsibilities
To provide support in the delivery of research services by NSW HP. The research coordinator will work with external and internal clients to determine their needs and NSW HP’s role in supporting research. The role will facilitate projects such as clinical trials or investigator‑led research projects, determine costs, enable establishment of projects, and ensure all client needs are met. Service failures will be identified, investigated, remedied, and appropriate feedback provided.
Qualifications
- Appropriate tertiary qualification in a pathology‑related discipline or equivalent experience
- Well‑developed written and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
- Proven ability to project and promote the image of an organisation as professional, efficient, and courteous
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with effective time management, organisation and prioritisation to meet deadlines
- Experience using MS Office and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) or similar
- Current unencumbered Class C Driver's Licence
