About the Position
The Flinders Factory of the Future is a transdisciplinary research and innovation hub designed to accelerate industry growth through practical, evidence‐based solutions. Bringing together expertise across business, public policy, engineering, and science, the Factory partners directly with industry to solve real‐world challenges and build capability for the future workforce.
We are now seeking a forward‐thinking academic to join this exciting initiative as a Lecturer, contributing to teaching and research in one of the following areas:
* Economics of Advanced Manufacturing, productivity, and public policy
* Additive Manufacturing with a business lens, for example, human factors and business models.
* Artificial Intelligence in the workplace, business models and regulation.
Responsibilities
The Lecturer is responsible for delivering high‐quality teaching, undertaking impactful research, supervising students, and contributing to industry engagement within advanced manufacturing disciplines.
About You
You will bring a strong foundation in both research and teaching within a tertiary context. You are an emerging or established scholar with a growing publication record, experience in curriculum delivery and development, and a commitment to inclusive, cross‐cultural education.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* A completed PhD in a relevant discipline
* Experience in, or a strong capacity for, high‐quality teaching and curriculum development in higher education
* A developing or established research profile, including publications and potential for grant success
* A commitment to inclusive, student‐centred learning and cross‐cultural engagement
* The ability to collaborate across disciplines and with industry partners
