The annual salary package for this role is $78,400 ($70,000 base + super) plus profit‐share bonus and weekend allowance.
About the role
The Service Person Driver is the critical link between a Kennards Hire branch, our customers and their projects. You'll be in charge of expert advice, pickups, deliveries and ensuring equipment is ready for hire.
Responsibilities
* Instruct and demonstrate to customers how to safely use our equipment.
* Drive and perform pickup and delivery of equipment, including safe loading and unloading.
* Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions.
* Maintain equipment quality through regular servicing and minor repairs.
* Clean branch facilities and maintain equipment as required.
* Inspect equipment for check‐in and check‐out.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in customer service, building & construction, hospitality, retail, driver, landscaping, trade or maintenance.
* Valid driver's licence.
* Availability to work weekends on a rotating roster.
* Physical fitness to lift and stand for long periods; able to pass a drug test.
* Proactive, keen to learn new skills, and a positive team player.
* Interest in machinery and equipment (training provided).
