Kilmore Racing Club is hiring for a Groundsperson to join the team for both Turf and Harness racing, and grounds maintenance.
Experience would be an advantage, though full training is provided. A current Heavy Rigid License is preferred but not essential, with solid operating experience of different machinery including tractors. Must be capable of physical labour and enjoy working outdoors.
Responsibilities
* Maintaining racing and training facilities and grounds
* Ensuring the racecourse is presented in excellent condition at all times
* Following routine maintenance schedules for all vehicles and equipment
* Ensuring all duties are carried out with the highest regard to OHS standards.
Qualifications
* Able to work well under pressure
* Detail oriented with good knowledge of OHS practices
* Flexible with roster, able to work nights and weekends as required due to race meetings.
