Overview
As a Policy Lead, you will provide strategic policy leadership and oversight to shape the organisation's policy for automated decision‐making and support the delivery of RegStar, a regulatory system transformation. Your work will ensure that regulatory transformation is achieved with appropriate safeguards and that transport outcomes in NSW are improved.
Responsibilities
* Lead the integration and alignment of policy priorities across cross‐divisional teams.
* Deliver strategic policy advice and manage complex projects that support the RegStar initiative.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, including senior executives and ministers, to influence decision‐making and negotiate outcomes.
* Translate technical policy issues into clear, actionable strategies.
* Shape legislative and regulatory frameworks to support the delivery of improved transport outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
* Critical thinker with experience in policy development, government or regulatory advisory roles.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence, and lead policy initiatives in a fast‐paced environment.
* Experience managing complex projects and providing high‐quality advice under pressure.
* Proficiency in translating technical issues into executive‐level strategies.
