As Assistant Venue Manager, you'll play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our vibrant ocean-front venue. The Seabreeze Hotel is a hub for local gigs and live entertainment, making this an exciting and dynamic place to work! In this hands‐on leadership role, you'll oversee bar, restaurant, gaming and accommodation services, ensuring smooth operations while consistently delivering outstanding guest experiences.
What You'll Do:
* Support the Venue Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of service in our bar, restaurant, gaming rooms and accommodation.
* Inspire and mentor your team, driving a positive and productive culture focused on excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement.
* Be the point of contact for guest inquiries, ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience, from check-in to checkout.
* Assist in managing stock, scheduling, and staff performance while maintaining efficient operations and adhering to budget targets.
* Assist in ensuring the venue adheres to health and safety guidelines, licensing laws, and all regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For:
* A proven leader with previous experience in hospitality management, preferably managing F&B and gaming operations.
* Current QLD RSA, RSG, RMLV, Approved Managers License & CLO (or ability to obtain).
* A positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, close‐knit team environment.
* A passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to handle problems on the spot.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
* A solid understanding of hospitality regulations, financial management, and best practices.
