Heavy Construction equipment dealer in Richmond, CA seeking experienced heavy equipment diesel mechanics for field service. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Service customer equipment in shop or at customer's jobsite
* Capable of completing jobs at or under manufacturer's published flat rate repair times
* Ability to plan work and complete route maintenance services without supervision
* Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
* Must be able to work under pressure independently and as a team player

Salary: $40.00 - $58.00 per hour

Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years experience maintaining/servicing heavy equipment
* Equipment dealership background ideal
* Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted
* Welding experience
* Hydraulic & electrical experience
* Mid-level diagnostic ability
* Ability to do repairs such as welding, R & R of major components such as axles, engines, and transmissions
* Ability to perform repairs on components and attachments such as hammers and shears
* Engine certifications a plus
* Ability to understand instructions, written and verbal
* Possess a clean and valid Class B driver's license, recent K4 printout required
* Must be detail oriented
* Ability to multi-task
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
